Educational committees
Each educational committee consists of 50% students and 50% staff members.
Solicited or unsolicited, each educational committee advises their Educational Manager and/or the Faculty Board on all matters having to do with the training courses of the various fields of study. Examples of these matters are:the educational programme, transitional provisions, and the number of opportunities to sit an exam.
You can turn to (members of) the educational committee if you have questions or complaints about anything having to do with your studies.

Faculty council
The faculty council consists of 9 students and 9 staff members, representing the students and the staff members of the faculty.
The faculty council advises the faculty board on matters of policy concerning education, research and supporting facilities (IT, occupational health & environment).
If you have a problem (for instance concerning one of the facilities mentioned above) that cannot be dealt with by the educational committee, or if you do not know where to register your complaint, you can turn to the (students of the) faculty council.
The faculty council meets every third Tuesday of the month from 16:00 until 18:00 in the Sociology boardroom (room 128 of the Bouman building). These meetings are open to all students and staff members.

Faculty Board Student Advisor
The faculty board student advisor attends all the faculty board meetings and advises the board on all matters concerning students. The faculty board student advisor closely collaborates with the student members of the faculty council.
You can turn to the faculty board student advisor with any kind of question or complaint. He/she will be able to advise you on how best to proceed.
