Striving for excellence
The mission of the faculty is to conduct high-level research and provide high-quality teaching based on that research. The faculty aims to deliver high quality in its teaching as well as its research. Within that context, where possible, students and staff are encouraged to excel even further. In terms of education, this is possible through the Honours stream of the Bachelor’s degree programmes and through the two-year Research Master’s programme. In terms of research, the faculty excels through a number of programmes that lead the field worldwide.
