About Master programmes

Everyone has an opinion about religion, but only a few have the expertise to properly interpret this complex phenomenon. Our interdisciplinary Master’s programmes train students to become specialists in the field of religion and culture.

During your studies, you acquire highly relevant knowledge and skills. Partly thanks to the internship opportunities offered by our Master’s programmes, you will become familiar with actual practice during your studies.

The Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies offers six unique Master’s degree programmes that concentrate on the dynamic interrelationship between religion and culture. Each programme has a clear individual focus. All programmes dovetail with the research expertise of the academic staff (see also Departments).
