Study association and debating societies

The Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies has an active study association: 'Gerardus van der Leeuw' . Gerardus organizes parties, sporting events, conferences, debates and excursions.

The Faculty also has 3 debating societies, or ‘philosophical societies’. They organize events that stimulate contact between students from different cohorts. Their activities include debates, church expeditions, computer game tournaments and excursions. The debating societies usually get together once every three weeks.

Every student of the Faculty can become a member of a debating society. Many graduates are also members.
