After your studies

You have a lot of opportunities with a Master’s degree in Theology or in Religious Studies. After all, you have completed an extensive, academic degree programme. Your future career will largely depend on your personal interests, your study performance and your specialization. Previous graduates have careers as policy advisors, academic researchers, translators, editors, ministers, journalists, spiritual carers and lecturers.

You will probably discover where your main interests lie in the course of your studies, and you should use the programme to help you recognize what these interests are.

Your career perspectives largely depend on the level of your ambitions. Those who take the opportunity to develop their talents during their degree (through placements, managerial experience and by taking extra modules during their studies) have the best opportunities on the job market.
