Our University offers a great variety of English-taught degree programmes and is continually scouting talented students, providing them the opportunity to excel. 

Students from other universities are welcome to contact us about the possibilities to study in Groningen. 

The teaching at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies takes place in small groups, so students can benefit optimally from the teachers’ broad expertise. The courses are characterised by a continuing interaction between the teachers and the students, leaving ample room for student participation, discussion and: continuous coaching which motivates students and staff to work and strife for excellency. 

Students interested in studying for one or two semesters in Groningen can choose from a variety of courses (from fieldwork to the cultural history of Christianity or Hinduism), specialisations (from Islam to philosophy) and methodologies (from philology to anthropology). In general, Master courses are taught in English whereas some Bachelor courses may be taught in English.
