8 July 2011: Groningen Faculty of Law appoints seventh visiting professor

Prof Dr Dr Dietmar von der Pfordten has been appointed as a visiting professor at the Faculty of Law. He is one of the seven visiting professors of the Groningen Centre for Law and Governance (GCL), who will each spend a number of months per year in Groningen. By attracting internationally prominent scholars to Groningen, the GCL is stimulating the internationalization of law research. 1 4 September 2010: Prof Dr Dr Aurelia Colombi Ciacchi has been appointed to the Endowed Chair at the Faculty of Law

Dr Aurelia Colombi Ciacchi has been appointed to the Endowed Chair at the Faculty of Law. She is one of the nine top academics to be financed by the Board of the University via the Endowed Chair Programme. In addition to the professorship, this chair enables the appointment of a number of PhD students and postdoc researchers, who will be supervised by the professor.
