Academic year 2011-2012

Timetables for the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences – 2011-2012

Introduction

Although academic year 2011/2012 officially has a two-semester setup, the year is in fact divided into four teaching periods. The first two periods, Ia and Ib , together make up semester I and the second two periods, IIa and IIb , form semester II . We use the term ‘period’ to avoid confusion with the ‘quarters’ in a calendar year. Each period consists of about 8 teaching weeks and about 3 examination weeks.

The week numbers in the timetable match the calendar week numbers.
