Teaching and Examination Regulations

The Faculty Board is required to issue Teaching and Examination Regulations (OERs) annually if there are any changes. Before the Faculty Board issues an OER, Programme Directors, Degree Programme Advisory Committees, policymaking staff and the Faculty Council are involved in the procedure, which is set out briefly under the link ‘Tijdspad goedkeuringsprocedure’ (Timetable for approval procedure: see menu on the left).

Each programme or group of programmes has a set of Teaching and Examination Regulations (OER). The OER for the BSc or MSc programme can be found in the menu on the left.

The general rules since the 2008/2009 OERs apply to all students in the degree programme in question.

As regards the curriculum, that set out in the OER for the academic year in which the student began his or her degree programme applies. Modules in the curriculum may be discontinued, but they will be replaced with other modules and transitional arrangements will be made.

Students may depart from the curricula as laid down, but changes must be approved by the Board of Examiners of the programme.
