In 2011 graduation ceremonies for master students will be on:
- Friday 10 February 2012: all the masters
- Friday 8 June 2012: only Real Estate master and Population Studies master
- Friday 15 June 2012: all the masters except for the Real Estate and Population Studies master
- Friday 12 Oktober 2012: master Cultural Geography, Economic Geography, Research Master, Education master
- Friday 26 Oktober 2012: only Real Estate masters
- Friday 11 november 2012: only Planning master and Environmental and Infrastructure Planning master.

The degree certificate will be dated on the month in which you obtained your last results. The date of the ceremony does not affect the date of the certificate.
Preparation (for the student)
- Approval study programme: your study programme must be approved of before you apply for your degree certificate. (Didy Nauta)
- Results: all results must be registered in Progress
- You need to upload your master thesis (instructions) [DOC] .
- hand in a statement of Thesis Publication [DOC] (signed) and a "Non-plagiarism statement" [DOC] (signed) to: Hanneke Derix, Education Desk, room 0024, Landleven 1, or send it to: University of Groningen, Faculty of Spatial Science, Hanneke Derix, Postbus 800, 9700 AV Groningen, The Netherlands.
