During the year there are many times when special activities take place with the goal of showing what is going on at the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute. Each of these events is targeted at a specific group of people: prospective students, parents, highschool students, general public etc. Some of these events are organised by the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute itself, some are supported by input of astronomers of the Institute.
