Description

The four-cylinder double acting wobble yoke Stirling engine is a main part of micro-Combined Heat Power (CHP) systems for cogeneration of heat and electricity at local house holds. The aim of this research project is to improve the control of such motor in order to improve the dynamical behavior of micro-CHP systems in order to make them attractive systems for a local household. In order to do so, first a model of the dynamical behavior based on the physics (mechanics and thermo-dynamics) is developed, and the next step is to design a model based controller.
