In the 4th round of Rosalind Franklin Fellowships two fellows have been appointed at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences:

Dr. K. Caputi – at the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute
as of 1 February 2012

Dr. A. Casini – at the Groningen Research Institute of Pharmacy
as of 1 October 2011
To promote the participation of women in Natural Sciences and Liberal Arts the University of Groningen offers a prestigious fellowship program named after Rosalind Franklin, whose X-ray studies of DNA were crucial to solving its structure.
The next round of Rosalind Franklin Fellowships is expected December 2012.
