NewsSTW grant for innovative biopharmaceuticals The Technology Foundation STW has awarded a grant of EUR 1.5 million to a research consortium involved in the development of new biopharmaceuticals. Participants from the University of Groningen are the groups of Prof. R. Bischoff (Analytical Biochemistry) and Prof. W.J. Quax (Pharmaceutical Biology).
Bioinformatics for proteomics wins SURFnet competition Date: July 10, 2009 Peter Horvatovich (University of Groningen) wins the competition "Enlighten your research" on dynamics light paths. Peter Horvatovich (University of Groningen) is one of three winners of the competition "Enlighten your research" on dynamics light paths, organised by SURFnet and NWO. Together with Bas van Breukelen (Netherlands Proteomics Centre) he has described a high speed light path network for the Netherlands Bioinformatics for Proteomics Platform. The winners get free access to the light path network and 20.000 Euro to integrate light paths in their research.
