Karen van Eunen, postdoc in the Centre for Systems Biology of Energy Metabolism and Ageing, has been awarded the FEBS Journal Prize 2011. She won the prize for her publication 'Measuring enzyme activities under standardized in vivo-like conditions for systems biology'.

She will receive the prize at the FEBS Conference 2011 (June 25-30) in Torino where she will give a plenary lecture about her prize-winning research.
