Our faculty has a new managing director since 1 September: Marga Hids.

Hids studied Business Economics at the University of Groningen and graduated for Postdoctoral Accountancy after that. She worked as an accountant in the Financial Administrations department of the Office of the University.

Staff members who already worked at the faculty at the time, know her from the years 2001-2006, when she was coordinator for research affairs at our faculty. But many of us meet her for the first time, because the faculty has grown dramatically since then.

The Board is very happy to welcome Marga. She will be of great value to the infrastructure of our thinking. She was officially welcomed to the faculty yesterday, Wednesday 14 September. At the same time, we officially said goodbye to Jorine Janssen, who has worked for us for the past eleven years. She will continue to work for Groningen University in the Human Resources department of the Office of the University.
