Faculty of Philosophy supports Central European University (CEU)

07 April 2017

The Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Groningen wholeheartedly supports its partner, the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary.

Their academic freedom is threatened by a new law, adopted earlier this week.

A joint support statement from our University Board and Council was issued this morning.

Our Faculty expressed its concern in separate writing and is listed on the CEU website's Statements of Support page.
