What is a pre-Master programme?

Pre-Master programmes are designed for students who need to meet the requirements for entry into our Master of Science programmes. Once you have successfully completed this programme, you can enrol in the corresponding Master's programme. The pre-Master programme consists of 60 EC (A&C for HBO-BE: 71 EC) and takes one year.

Pre-MSc programmes are bridging programmes for students that want to enter one of FEB's MSc programmes, but that have certain deficiencies in their academic background. These pages give an overview of the pre-MSc programmes the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) offers next year.

The difference between HBO and University? Read more about it.

Good to know before you start!

The admissions requirements for our pre-Master programmes have been made easier. For instance: all students with an accredited HBO degree (240 EC) can enter our pre-Master programmes. On the other hand, we demand more from you during your pre-Master year.

A lot will depend on your own attempt to succeed. You have the most influence on your study success.
