Bert de Brock, FEB professor of Business Information Modelling, has joined a committee of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW). The task of the committee is to map what IT knowledge and skills a student in secondary school should acquire, also called the '21st century skills'. The committee is founded because of concerns about the quality of the current edcuation in IT in secondary school.
The committee will prepare an advice for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OC&W).
