ASN Bank is planning to establish an investment fund to stimulate farmers to practise agricultural nature conservation and which will pay out dividends in cheese.
‘We warmly applaud this initiative, which will counterbalance the current dramatic government cuts in the field of nature’, FEB professors Bert Scholtens and Laura Spierdijk say.
They do not expect the initiative to turn into a fiasco, like the teak funds in the 1990s.
