Page content: AACSB accreditation puts Groningen Faculty of Economics and Business among global top 5% of business schools
After a strict and extensive quality assessment, the international Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, AACSB, announced this month that it will award the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of the University of Groningen accreditation. Less than 5% of the world’s business schools have AACSB accreditation, which is a sign of FEB’s high quality. AACSB, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, is a US-based organization that awards accreditation to business schools around the globe that satisfy its strict criteria. AACSB assesses the quality of degree programmes, students, staff, teaching, research and the various facilities through in-depth self-study reports, a visit by an expert panel and interviews with stakeholders such as students, alumni, researchers, lecturers, support staff as well as business contacts and employers. AACSB accreditation is a hallmark of an institution’s outstanding quality. See also: www.rug.nl/feb/aacsb
