Page content: The interaction between the Faculty of Economics and Business and trade and industry is of vital importance. Supply and demand come together in inspiring collaboration. On the one hand, the Faculty functions as a major source of knowledge for organizations that wish to tackle their problems and issues in a responsible, scientific manner. On the other hand, an academic Faculty engaged in processes of management and decision-making in organizations benefits from constant nourishment from companies and other institutions. Various forms of collaboration are possible. Contract research
Contract research enables companies and organizations to make use of our knowledge and experience. Assignments are carried out by members of the Faculty staff, thus guaranteeing an objective and theoretical basis for any research. Graduation internships: a solution to a problem in your organization
On request, a student will analyse an existing company problem for a period of three to six months, and will then propose a solution based on academic research. Would you like advice on how to formulate your problem or would you like intensive coaching during the research period, please contact the Science Shop. PhD researchResearch assignments that are more scientific in nature and require a longer period of research may be suitable as PhD research projects. There are various forms of corporate involvement in PhD research:
All PhD researchers of the Faculty participate in the Graduate School EB. For more information on PhD research, please contact Rina Koning, the research co-ordinator of SOM. Guest lecture or case study
Would you like to convey your practical experience to tomorrow’s managers? Or would you like to have an item in your organization illuminated from various perspectives by means of a case study? Or participate in the Management Game perhaps? If so, the programme structure of the Faculty of Economics and Business provides all kinds of possibilities.
