Welcome to the Department of Economics, Econometrics and Finance.

The Department of Economics, Econometrics and Finance provides an excellent and challenging environment for research and study. Researchers in the Department specialize in several areas, such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, economic history, dividend policy, capital structure, corporate governance, portfolio management, valuation, banking, corporate social responsibility, microfinance, and investments.

The research activities take place in the accredited research institute, the Institute of Economics, Econometrics and Finance in specific types of contract research.

The Department offers a bachelor's and master's program in economics, a bachelor's and master's program in econometrics and a broad range of finance courses in the bachelor and master programs of the Faculty of Economics and Business (specialization Finance).

The Department also participates in the Research Master program, a challenging two-year master program intended for students aiming to do a PhD, or to do high quality research in various (international) organizations.
