Entry requirements

Fudan University is responsible for the entrance requirements and selection of prospective students. The admission procedures in Groningen are the responsibility of the Admissions Office in Groningen. Students who qualify for the degree programme in Fudan will automatically be admitted to the final two years of the BSc Economics and Business Economics (specialization IE&B) in Groningen. Participants are expected to be proficient in English, which needs to match IELTS 6.5. All students from China who require ‘Study Visa’ for the Netherlands (MVV in Dutch) need to obtain a Certificate from Neso Beijing before their visa applications can be filed. More detailed information on this will be provided in due time through this website.

Cost of the programme

The total costs for the two study years in Groningen will in total come to about € 30.000,- (€ 16.500,- per year). This includes the annual tuition fee (€ 7.500,- in 2012-2013), accommodation and living costs (€ 9.000,-), and study materials (€ 240,-).

The breakdown of annual accommodation and living costs is given below:  

Rent:

€ 300-450 per month per room

Room deposit, administration costs:

€ 330,–
(one time only deposit and admin fee)

Visa and Residence Permit:

€ 250,– (MVV visa) and € 188,– (Residence Permit application (total € 438,- refunded by the Faculty)

Food:

€ 200,- per month

Spending money:

€ 250,- per month

Health Insurance:

€ 75-100 per month
