Student International Economics and Business
"I started my university life when I was sixteen. Having obtained three university degrees in scientific fields, I experience the International Economics and Business study as being the best study of all. It is very inspiring and will stand me in good stead for my future career.
The International Economics and Business degree programme at the University of Groningen is a good learning programme. The courses are both interesting and informative. Besides plenary lectures, courses are taught in small groups, a teaching method I like because it is a good way to gain knowledge and understanding. I really like the way the courses are structured. Moreover, I can study in an international environment, meet students from many different nations, and gain valuable experience living abroad.
I have been elected Chairperson of B-yond, the student association of IE&B. This has not only been beneficial for my fellow students, for whom I have planned various activities, including organizing a symposium, it has also been an enriching experience for me in that it has shaped my personality and increased my leadership skills. Moreover, Groningen is a city with an interesting student life that provides a good environment for international students to study and live."
