What is Economics?

Economics

The Master’s degree programme is based on the latest economic theories. Students learn how the economy functions within society, and how economic theory can help to find solutions to current issues, such as whether the national government complies with EU budget regulations, how nanotechnology can help countries to develop, or whether a ‘fat tax’ will help to make people more healthy.

Students choose the Economics programme because courses are taught by specialists who have an international reputation and/or play a key role in public debates.

The MSc in Economics is designed to be an internationally competitive, high-quality Master’s degree programme. The international character is demonstrated by the fact that English is the teaching language  and that acclaimed, highly respected international literature is used.

In addition to the best available international manuals, the various modules work with articles from prominent journals in order to keep up with the latest developments.
