Ewout Verweij, Master student of Technology and Operations Management
During the Master’s phase you’re thrown into the deep end almost immediately, and you’re expected to try to resolve business issues together with your fellow students.
After I graduate I’d really like to work in the business world.
Graduates understand the language of the work floor and during your studies you learn how to make the theoretical issues concrete.
You’re trained to search for solutions to problems and to improve processes.
I’d really like to use this knowledge within a production company or in consultancy.
During my degree I did miss attention to the social side of business life.
I gained that experience by being a member of the EBF committees for the Bèta Business Days, for European Study Research and for the day organization of the Business Congress.
I’ve also travelled a lot and I’m a member of a student society.
I think that it’s very important for students to develop themselves as individuals alongside their studies.
