At the University Centre for Pharmacy both fundamental and applied research on drugs is being conducted. The field of Pharmacy is heavily interlocked with the fields of Biology, Chemistry and Medicine; this is reflected in the broad spectrum of academical and professional backgrounds of research group members. All research groups at the University Centre have an extensive record of participating in national and international research projects. These collaborations not only involve academic parties but govermental and industrial ones as well.
