NRG BattleThe NRG Battle – Europe Edition is a yearly recurring event, organized by TTA World. TTA World is the agency where top talent is able to jumpstart its career in energy, finance and health. During a whole year, preliminary rounds are held nationwide. Each annual edition will end with a final. Participation for students is free of charge, including food and drinks. In addition, TTA World organized the first NRG Battle – World Edition during the World Gas Conference on 4-8 June 2012 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The NRG Battle is a great opportunity for students to meet with renowned names in the industry and work with students from various backgrounds on important energy issues. These issues have been provided in the form of a case by (inter) national leading energy companies. All teams receive support from an expert, assigned to them by the company that has provided the case. Together with your team and coach you will work on innovative ideas all day long. At the end of the day each team will present their solution to a jury, comprised of CEO’s of renowned companies such as Siemens and GasTerra. This jury will select - based on three criteria; utility, non-obvious of character and novelty - a number of winning teams. These teams go to the final at the end of the year. The jury will also select the winning team of the day. That team receives a cash prize. The finals take place during the Energy Delta Convention, on Wednesday 23th 2011. In the period before the finals, you will have had the chance to work on your case and improve your presentation. All winning teams will pitch their improved ideas to the jury. At the end of the final it will be clear who has won the first prize: your own documentary on National Geographic Channel. Prizes are various of content for each edition, but of course the biggest prize is an internship, traineeship or job. It’s in your own hands!
