Conference Keynote Speakers

The following confirmed conference keynote speakers will speak during the International Electric Car Conference Keynote session:


Conference Keynote 1:


Graham Smith
Graham Smith

Graham Smith , Senior Vice-President External Affairs Toyota Motor Europe

On 1 July 2006 Mr. Graham Smith was appointed Senior Vice-President, Toyota Motor Europe, responsible for External Affairs.  Concurrently he also assumed the new role of Managing Director, Toyota Motor Europe London Office, coordinating efforts in Governmental and External Affairs specifically for the UK market. Prior to joining Toyota (GB) PLC, Graham held a number of senior Sales and Marketing positions with Ford Motor Company. On 1 January 2008 in the UK he was awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the Queen’s New Year Honours for Services to the Automotive Industry. Mr. Smith graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge, in the United Kingdom, with a Masters Degree in Economics. He subsequently gained a Diploma in Business Administration from Manchester Business School.

Gary Kendall

Gary Kendall , Director of Client Services at SustainAbility’s London office 

He leads SustainAbility’s Climate Change program, with a particular focus on the intersection of climate change and the oil industry. Prior to joining SustainAbility, Gary Kendall spent two years working in WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature)’s global Climate & Energy program. His main interest was the causes of – and solutions to – the series of major environmental threats posed by the development of unconventional fuels, and the potential role of International Oil Companies in tackling climate change. 



Conference Keynote 3:
 

Roberto Isidori
Roberto Isidori

Robert Isidori , Corporate Technical Manager of the FAAM Group

Roberto Isidori is a graduated in Electronic Engineering at the University of Ancona and works for the FAAM Group of companies since year 2000. At the beginning of his career at FAAM he was in charge of the Ecological Vehicle production, both electric and natural gas powered ones. He has worked at the EVF SpA (a company, belonging to the aforementioned Group, which builds ecological vehicles) as Quality Control Manager, as Production Manager and afterwards as Factory Manager. During that period he's been in charge of the strategic projects managing from the research and development stages on fuel cells, up to the complete fuel cell powered vehicles.
