About internationalization

The University Centre for Learning & Teaching (in Dutch: UOCG) is increasingly active in the international community. At the moment we cooperate with several partners in Europe and Africa.

In Europe the UOCG initiated JoMiTE, a joined master for teacher education. Teachers have to be able to look across the borders of their own school culture and learn from didactic and pedagogic possibilities from other countries. In the field of ict the UOCG cooperates with several European universities. The goal is to collectively observe new developments and to be a pioneer on implementing ict in higher education.

In addition the UOCG cooperates with a couple of projects in Africa, for example Ghana, Uganda and South Africa. With these projects the UOCG hopes to contribute to improve the quality of higher education in developing countries. At the same time, in cooperation with the relevant universities, research takes place into the quality and effectiveness of higher education.
