Doorenweerd uses the phrase ‘Sun College’ to illustrate the ‘humans centre stage’ theme proposed by the Faculty of Economics and Business.
The Faculty is drawing on the ideas of Prof. L. Karsten,
who stated that a human moves in three dimensions – a large institutional dimension, an organizational dimension and a domestic dimension.
The trick for everyone is to find a balance between the various dimensions, the optimum arrangement of work and care time.
Doorenweerd’s Sun College is designed to smooth the transitions between and the fine-tuning of the various dimensions.
