The futuristic building is called the 'Zernikeborg', located in the Zernike Area to the north west of the city of Groningen. It accommodates the Donald Smits Center for Information Technology. The high building at the pond is the Duisenberg Building of the Faculty of Economics & Business. On the opposite side of the pond you see buildings of the Faculty of Mathematics & Natural Sciences.
The white arrow on the picture leads you to the Zernike Square.
