Graduate School Master's degree programmes

Research and Top Master's

The Groningen Graduate Schools manage and facilitate most two-year Master's degree programmes, which are offered in addition to a large number of regular one-year Master’s degree programmes not associated with a Graduate School. All Master’s degree programmes prepare its graduates for responsible positions in both professional careers and research. Yet, the additional second year in the two-year Research or Top Master associated with Graduate Schools is an excellent preparation for a PhD, as well as an extra boost to career perspectives. Talented students can write their PhD proposal as part of their Research or Top Master’s degree programme. After completing any Master’s degree programme successfully you will receive an MA, MSc. or LLM degree.
