Do a plagiarism scan at the library

03 March 2017

Do you want to scan a manuscript for plagiarism? Then these are the possibilities:

PhD-students and their promotors
The Graduate School of Medical Sciences (GSMS) has a license for the plagiarism scanner iThenticate for promotors and supervisors of doctoral students.
Doctoral students should consult their promotors and supervisors if they want to scan manuscripts, as only they have access to iThenticate.

Other UMCG staff
All other staff in the UMCG can turn to the Central Medical Library (CMB) to have manuscripts scanned for plagiarism. The CMB will perform the scan with iThenticate and provide a detailed report which can be discussed with the author. Please send us an email via cmb umcg.nl or call us (050 - 361 6200) to make an appointment.

Students
Students of the University of Groningen need to consult their supervisors and teachers to have manuscripts scanned in Nestor with Ephorus.

For more information on the use of iThenticate in the UMCG, please contact the GSMS via r.c.kroese umcg.nl.
