General information

The CIT provides all kinds of IT services for the university, ranging from e-mail services to supercomputing. It also offers computer courses to students and staff of the University of Groningen and other institutions. The CIT offers courses in all the major applications used at the University, and several are also given in English. The number of English courses is expanding continually, so that all major applications will soon be covered in English.
At this moment we offer the following courses in English:

• Publishing using Word
• Reference Manager
• EndNote
• SPSS
• Access (basic and advanced)
• Excel
• Powerpoint
• Programming in Word, Access, Excel
• C/C++

Other services

• Tailor-made courses

  On request the CIT also offers tailor-made courses for groups. After consulting the customer the CIT can offer a course or course material that fits the specific demands. This course can be held in one of the classrooms of the CIT but also at the office of the customer.

• Support on location

  If you are fairly experienced with a certain application but need assistance with certain tasks, one of the CIT trainers can visit you at your office to find solutions for your problem, or train you in how to handle these tasks more efficiently.
