On 5 oktober 2011, Ecoloss organised a symposium in the 'Haagse Hogeschool' on calamities and incidents. The CEO of Groningen Seaports, Harm Post, gave a presentations about the manner in which the harbor handles these issues. The center for High Performance and Visualisation showed a virtual 3D tour over the Harbor on a big portable screen.
