Department of Academic Affairs and International Relations (AZIS)

The department of Academic Affairs and International Relations (AZIS) advises the Board of the University of the University of Groningen about its policies regarding education, research and internationalisation of the university as a whole, and is an intermediary between the Board of the University, the faculties, and external institutions.

Distinctive focus areas of the department are:

• quality assurance,
• internationalisation,
• change of the organisation,
• and the expenditure of renewal funds
