Academic Affairs

Academic Affairs is one of the supporting units of the Board of the University of the University of Groningen. The unit advises the Board of the University about the education and research policies of the university as a whole and is intermediary between the Board of the University, the faculties, and external institutions.

Characteristic focus areas of the department are quality assurance (including visitations), change of the organisation, the introduction of information and communication technology (ICT), the expenditure of monies from the central budget and the analysis of key figures.
