Research interests

My main fields of interest are in evolutionary genetics and ecology, life history evolution, behavioural ecology and population biology: Specific topics of interest are the evolution of sex, sex determination and sex allocation, genetics of speciation and insect life histories. In addition I have published on B-chromosome evolution, genomic conflict and evolution of parasitic DNA. I am also interested in faunistics (in particular entomology) and biodiversity research.
