Study places

Currently the library has 162 study places. 

Computers

Any computers available? This software gives an overview of the availability of computer workstations in the library and elsewhere in the WSN buiding (only in Dutch).

At the moment the library has 80 computer workstations for students. Apart from these there are 4 dedicated workstations for the Datastream database. An additional 8 workstations - giving access to catalogues and databases only - are available for walk-in users. 

Copying

There are two photocopiers/printers in the library.

Students can pay their copies and prints via a deposit that can be topped up via the internet with iDeal (soon also with VISA and Mastercard). The credit is lodged on a secure server in the network.

Library-users who do not hold an Equitrac account (eg University staff, Martini pass holders) can select 'key card' on the menu, scan the desired pages and send them to their own email-adress without using their Xafax card. At this moment this service is free of charge.

Printing

Print requests are send to the network and students can collect their printouts from any printer or multifunctional. This is known as ‘Follow you’.

There are two printer/copiers in the library, and also two printers on the 1nd floor of the Plaza.

Carrels 

The library has various carrels available, for both individual use and for the use of (small) groups.  

Toolbar 

The Library Toolbar is an aid to have frequently used applications within arm's reach. The library of Economics & Business / Spatial Sciences offers this toolbar. With this toolbar you have straight admission to electronic journals, repositories, e-books, and you can make searches in databases such as EBSCO or Scopus.  

You can find the toolbar in the RUG start-menu --> Library Services --> Tools. You can dowload it once, after that the toolbar will appear in your browser (Internet Explorer!). A choice can be made out of 7 integrated toolbars, our toolbar (EBS) is one of them. If you work on multiple computers the toolbar should be installed on each of them.
