Année philologique

  1. Go to L’Année philologique and search for the desired publication(s).
  2. Mark one or more records.
  3. Click Export.
  4. Click the tab Means of retrieving exports.
  5. Select Export RefWorks.
  6. Click Export.  

Catalogue of the University of Groningen

  1. Go to the Catalogue of the University of Groningen and search for the desired book.  
  2. Copy the ISBN (or one of the ISBNs if there are more than one).
  3. Go to RefWorks: Search > Online Catalog or Database .
  4. Go to Online Catalog or Database to Search and select Catalogue of the University of Groningen .
  5. Paste the ISBN in the box Quick Search for:
  6. Click Search.
  7. Import the reference.

PiCarta

  1. Go to PiCarta and select the English version (top right hand corner) for better results in RefWorks.
  2. Search for the desired publication(s).
  3. Click on download.
  4. Select for format: MOPC and ISO-8859-1.
  5. Click screen.
  6. Copy the whole text from the window.
  7. Go to RefWorks: References > Import.
  8. Select for Import Filter/Data Source: PICARTA.
  9. Select for Database: PICARTA.
  10. Paste the copy of the text in the box Import Data from the following Text.
  11. Click Import.

PubMed

Import route from PubMed  

  1. Search in PubMed for the desired publication(s).
  2. Mark one or more records.
  3. Click Send to.
  4. Select for Choose Destination: File.
  5. Select for  Format: MEDLINE.
  6. Click Create File.
  7. Click Save and save the file as a Text Document.
  8. Go to RefWorks:  References > Import.
  9. Select for  Import Filter/Data Source: NLM PubMed.
  10. Select for  Database: PubMed.
  11. Select for Import Data from the following Text File via Browse the file that you saved.
  12. Click Import.

Import route from RefWorks  

  1. Go to RefWorks: Search > Online Catalog or Database .
  2. Select for Online Catalog or Database to Search: PubMed .
  3. Enter one or more search terms in the field Quick Search for:
  4. Click Search.
  5. Import the desired references. 

WorldCat

  1. Go to WorldCat and search for the desired publication.
  2. Go to the detailed record.
  3. Click Cite/Export.
  4. Click  Export to RefWorks.  

Tip: WorldCat is a practical alternative for the import of book references found in the Catalogue of the University of Groningen or in PiCarta.
