This section contains information about the special services and public facilities provided by the libraries of the RUG.
Some of the facilities have been implemented as projects, while others have progressed beyond that stage and are now part of the standard package of facilities offered by the RUG libraries.
The standard services provided by the libraries can be found in the main menu of this portal.
Under the heading Bibliometric Services you will find regular updates on the collections of monographs held by academic libraries in the Netherlands (AnaCoNDa), as well as a selection of information from the Journal Citation Reports produced by the ISI.
The License Chamber (

) of the RUG was set up on the initiative of the RUG libraries in order to facilitate decision-making on multi-faculty licenses for the use of scientific information in digital form.
The UB (main university library) provides facility support in the provision of electronic access to the publications of staff, departments, research schools and institutes of the university.
Information can be found in the menu of the left-hand side of the screen.
Electronic publications at the RUG are listed in the main menu under Catalogues and Databases.
The RUG has a user’s license for the software package Reference Manager, which you can use to help you manage your bibliographical references.
You can download the package, filters, output styles and technical support materials from the RUG RefMan information site.
For a small fee, the Information Retrieval department provides literature lists for businesses in the northern Netherlands and bordering areas of Germany.
