Publishing in Open Access

In the Netherlands, universities and SURF have developed and implemented many concrete activities to improve academic communication by stimulating Open Access.

• Springer and UKB Netherlands: working together on Open Access
  October 2008: In June 2007, the UKB (a partnership between the University Libraries and the Netherlands Royal Library) and the publisher Springer signed a statement of intent to jointly investigate and stimulate publishing via Open Access.
