Organizing lectures and debates

The board of Studium Generale is responsible for the content of the programme in consultation with the office. The board determines which themes will appear on the agenda, depending on suggestions submitted by anyone who wants to.

The SGG office fleshes out the activities. The office carries on from where the idea stops and works towards invitations to guest speakers. The office’s programme designers work together on a chosen theme with whoever made the suggestion, assisted by the knowledge and advice of consulted experts.

You may have many ideas or suggestions for our activities. Perhaps you also have suggestions for guest speakers we could invite. Don’t hesitate to make your ideas known to us. Just contact Guus Termeer. Your suggestions will then be discussed at the next board meeting and perhaps included in the agenda.

If you would like to organize a lecture or debate yourself and need information or help, don’t hesitate to contact us on (050) 363 5460, or by e-mail studium@rug.nl .
