SQUARE ONE (SQ1) is a privat closed Investment Fund. SQ1 was incorporated in 2008 in the City of Groningen (Netherlands) to stimulate entrepreneurship amongst students of the University of Groningen, the University Medical Center Groningen and Hanze University for Applied Sciences. Students can start up their company with capital of SQ1 or use the capital in their existing company for further growth.

SQ1 invests as a Venture Capital firm and will become shareholder in the company. So SQ1 invests in entrepreneurs and in start-up companies to score homeruns. http://www.square1fund.nl/
