Subsidy for dissertations printing costs

Upon receipt of 2 copies of your thesis, BCN will pay € 250 as a subsidy for the printing costs. However, this only holds true for those PhD students who have completed the BCN training programme. The thesis should contain the BCN logo on one of its first pages. The amount will be transferred to your bank account after you have sent the copies of the thesis to the BCN-office, together with a copy of the bill of the printing company and your bank account and corresponding name and address.

Exceptions:

- PhD students from the Graduate School of Medical Sciences and the Graduate School of Science can receive a bonus from their faculty.

- PhD students, with an appointment that started before 1-1-2010, with a completed training programme who finish their thesis within 4 years (this means that it should be approved by the reading committee within 4 years) will receive at most € 1000, - subsidy instead of

€ 250, - for the printing costs from BCN. In this case the PhD student will receive an addition if the amount received from the Graduate School of their faculty is less then € 1000, -.

- MD/PhD student do not qualify for this BCN bonus, since they will receive a JSM bonus upon finishing within 4 years.
