Are you an international student graduating in 2012? Finishing a Bachelors, Masters or PhD? Are you enthusiastic about your stay here?
You can become a RUG Alumni Ambassador in your country!
The University of Groningen is interested in strengthening its network of international alumni and Dutch alumni abroad. In order to achieve this we have created an Alumni Ambassador Programme. We are looking for two representatives for each country that would be our contact point in their respective countries for 2012-2013.

Profile of a RUG Alumni Ambassador
- You should be a student of the University of Groningen graduating in 2012. An alumnus is a person that receives a degree (bachelor, master, or PhD) from the RUG.
- You are enthusiastic and have great social skills.
- You enjoy talking to people and love the opportunity to share your experience in Groningen.
- You are willing to carry out some tasks for the University of Groningen on a voluntary basis (25-35 hours per year) in your country of origin.
Some of those tasks
- Visit some Dutch or international companies in your country on behalf of the RUG.
- Support the marketing activities of the RUG (e.g. counseling prospective students, attending a fair on behalf of the RUG, or organizing a coffee evening with some prospective students).
