Making a donation

The Eric Bleumink Fund depends on donations from individuals, commercial companies and institutions. By now we have many contributors. Some are regular donors, others make one-off donations. In the coming years, we will try to promote the Fund to even more people so that we will be able to provide even more grants. All contributions, whatever their size, are welcome. For EUR 35 we can cover the living costs and study costs for a student for one day.

Do you want to organize something? We can help, for example by providing collection boxes and information material.

 

Individual

There are many occasions when a donation to the Eric Bleumink Fund may be an interesting option. You could use your PhD ceremony, your birthday or your wedding as an opportunity to make a donation. Or how about linking your office football pool, staff outing, charity walk or Christmas campaign to the Fund? Donations in the form of annuities or bequests may be tax deductible. The Eric Bleumink Fund officers will gladly provide more information about the various possibilities and tax benefits .

 

Alumni societies

Alumni days, conferences and other meetings provide very suitable platforms for bringing the Eric Bleumink Fund to the attention of RUG alumni. Please contact us if you need support.

 

Companies and institutions

Companies and institutions can also support the Fund, for example by organizing a campaign among your employees or by entering into a long-term partnership with us. We will gladly explain the various possibilities to you in person.

Statement of account

All donations are for the benefit of the grants. Board, secretariat, administration and fundraising costs are not charged. The Fund’s finances are inspected by Price Waterhouse Coopers accountants. All donors and contacts of the Fund receive a Newsletter twice a year. This Newsletter contains information about the students and young researchers who have received grants and how they are doing.
