Middle East and North Africa

The University of Groningen has established long-term relationships with partners in the Middle East and North Africa. We cooperate on curriculum and staff development, and joint research.

UG welcomes many students from the Middle East and North Africa every year in its English taught Bachelor, Master, and PhD programmes.

Several MENA countries offer government scholarships. As a top-100 university, UG is a possible destination for these students. For scholarship students who want to enrol in the Bachelor of Medicine, there is a one-year Pre-University Programme at the University Medical Center Groningen.
